Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Offshore Analytics ("we", "us") collects, uses and shares information when you use our methane intelligence platform (the "Service"). This page is maintained by Offshore Analytics to answer common privacy questions about the Service.
Information we collect
- Account data: email address, display name, organization, hashed password credentials, and authentication provider identifiers where you sign in with a third party.
- Application data: facility metadata, alert acknowledgements, saved reports, notification preferences and audit-log entries you generate through the Service.
- Operational logs: request timestamps, IP address, user-agent, and error diagnostics required to keep the Service reliable and secure.
How we use information
- To provide, secure and improve the Service.
- To send transactional messages (password resets, alert notifications you have opted into, account changes).
- To meet legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
We do not sell personal data and we do not use customer data to train third-party AI models.
Data storage and security
Customer data is stored in encrypted Postgres databases with row-level security policies that scope access to the owning user or authorized workspace roles. Data in transit is encrypted via TLS. Administrative access is limited and audited.
Retention
Application data is retained for the life of your account. On account deletion we remove personal data within 30 days, except where retention is legally required. Audit-log entries may be retained for up to 24 months for security investigations.
Subprocessors
We rely on the following categories of subprocessors: cloud hosting (Cloudflare Workers), managed database and authentication (Supabase), and error reporting. A current list is available on request.
Your rights
You may access, correct, export or delete your personal data from Settings, or by contacting us. If you are in the EU/UK you have rights under the GDPR / UK GDPR including the right to object to processing and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
